Pest control licensing - Inspection and/or control of pests in and around homes, businesses and industries. This includes insect pests or pest animals which may invade homes, restaurants, stores and other buildings, attacking their contents or furnishings or being a general nuisance, but do not normally attack the building itself, as for example, roaches, silverfish, ants, flies, mosquitoes, rats, mice, etc.
The student will also need a copy of the SPCS Category study manual for either Pests or Termites. You may purchase a SPCS Category study manual from the Texas AgriLife Extension Service. Download the SPAT web order form 7-19 here
Verifiable Evidence for Your Files
When completed, the student will have two documents that provide verifiable evidence of apprentice pest control training. Most importantly, the tech gets a downloadable certificate of completion.
In addition, each lesson contains downloadable study guides. The student should also download these, print them and then fill in the blanks while watching the videos. These completed study guides also serve as verifiable evidence of pest control training.
